D-Day Campaigns

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

Because you asked for it (oh, and because it was already written) I’ve posted the D-Day Campaigns as a Memoir ‘44 Campaign Book Volume I Supplemental (that’s a mouth full!) on BoardGameGeek.com.

The 2 campaigns (US D-Day and UK D-Day) were intended as an introduction to the Campaign rules but for various reasons never got officially published. They can be played with using just the base Memoir ‘44 game and a copy of the Campaign Rules (a few of the scenarios in them are available from the Days of Wonder website). Play them together for a mini-grand campaign.

This is a free downloadable PDF. Enjoy!

Sherman Hit!Update April 9th – Wow!  what a great response, 52 thumbs and counting…and it made it to the splash page of BGG!  Ok, so there is certainly interest in this tutorial so I’ll start on it and should have it ready by the end of the weekend.  Happy Easter all!

I’m calling on fans of both Memoir ‘44 and Tide of Iron for your thumbs. I’ve posted this image to BoardGameGeek.com but think there is a good chance that it doesn’t get much exposure.

So if you like this image, and would like to see a tutorial on how to make your own (for M’44 fans, these alleviate the need to have 3 figures in each hex, one will do with ‘hit markers’) simply click on this BGG link and thumb the image.

If we can get enough thumbs to get this on the main page, I’ll write up a tutorial on how to make the ‘Hit Markers’.  They are easy…but had I not had an accident in making them, they would not have been.  Thanks in advance for your thumbs for those who give them.

Thumb the Hit Marker here.
