A Valentine before Valentines

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

I just got a note that Pre-Registration for GottaCon is ending February 1, 2009 at 11:59PM.  That means GottaCon is just around the corner and I’ve been busy.

As a special incentive to sign up for the Memoir ‘44 demos I’ll be running, I decided to offer up some of my Perrin 10mm Valentine tanks.

Here’s how you get your Valentine…pre-register for any one of my demo’s at GottaCon.  Then, show up for the demo and claim your Valentine tank.  There is a limit of one tank per pre-registrant regardless of how many of the demo’s you sign up for.

Hope to see you all there!  (I know, I wish…but seriously, if you can make it, I suggest you do…we will be having some good battles guaranteed!).

New Mini’s

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

I’ve added a few more pics to the collection.  I had a lot of fun paitning these new ones.  I tried out a giraffe cam pattern that I saw for the Grille and a bit of a vine looking pattern for the Marder.  The King Tiger took on a similar pattern to the JgdPzIV’s I painted earlier but the dots came out bigger than I would’ve liked.

To help my wife discern between the different vehicles, I now used just the brown to cam assault guns and green for tank destroyers (I know, pretty geeky!)

I had actually painted the Hellcat and Chruchill awhile ago but hadn’t taken pictures so now was a good time while I was shooting the others.

These new ones are all Pendraken figs (except the Hellcat, it’s a Perrin).  Now to make some rules for them…

Campaign Book premieres at GottaCon

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

I will be running Memoir ‘44 demos all weekend and we are having a tournament to boot!

But on Sunday, Feb. 8th, I’ll be demoing the Normandy Campaign from the Campaign Book.

For those who can make it, this will be a memoirable convention (excuse the pun!).

Hope to see some of you there!
